Budding artists busy in creative works

Art is the short hand of emotion. Finer aspects of art and craft is compulsory subjects till 8th std. This aims at creating a blend of activity based learning and development of innate qualities. The hidden artist in children is brought out by experienced and innovative teachers. School has made a mark in winning trophies and prizes in various inter-school competitions proving that imagination can take us anywhere.

Music Room

The ‘dhwani’ of symphony flows through the two music rooms wherein students are trained on various genres of music like melodious bhajans, rhythmic folk songs or even beats of percussions namely tabla, mridangam etc. These rooms are the places where our students learn the value of our culture and tradition, through the forms of music.

 English Lab

The School has a recently established an English Lab. Well equipped with a computer, overhead Projector, a Stereophonic Music System and an LCD projector.

A holistic approach and an emphasis on communication skills of listening, speaking reading and writing are the hallmarks of this new venture.

Stress is being laid on the young minds to imbibe the rudiment of the language through short stories, movies, transparencies and above all grammar games.

Emphasis is laid on correct pronunciation of words and expressions.

Medical Facilities

To meet any untoward occurrence, the school has a well equipped Medical wing under the charge of a qualified nurse. Periodic check ups are carried out under the supervision of doctors. Every child's health is regularly monitored.

Uniform and Book shop

For the convenience of its students, the school has in-house shops - a bookshop and a uniform shop. The bookshop carries essential stationery items as well as curriculum books for all classes, and the uniform shop, in addition to selling school-approved uniforms, shop also supplies the Badges, Blazers and Ties.

Transport

We have a strength of approximately 2275 students and 72 staff members, that requires a most efficient transport department. This department plays a pivotal role in coordinating the scores of school buses essential for ferrying students and faculty members from different parts of the city to the school and vice-versa. This department also holds the additional responsibility of arranging vehicles for visitors, for recreational activities like school picnics, and to send students to participate in various inter-school activities.

CoinPhone

There are times when students want to talk to their parents. As Students are not allowed to have mobile phones in school premises. There should be a phone facility for students. To facilitate communication, school has installed a coin phone near reception.

Copier facility

As the time has changed new requirements have arisen. One such requirement is photocopy. To fulfill this requirement school has installed two photocopier machines. Here students can get their required documents photocopied.

Generator

Due to increase in demand for power supply, there are frequent power cuts. Intense heat and power cuts hamper the normal functioning of education. Frequent power cuts also hamper the most important aspect of education i.e. Computer Education. To facilitate normal functioning of classes during power cut we have installed 75KV Generator Set.

LCD Projector

Time is changing. Now electronics have reached new heights. Now there are new sophisticated devices available to let student understand the complicated studies in much simplified manner. One such device is Computer and Projector. We have projector attached to computer installed for easy and fast learning of different aspects of education.
