Swami Sant Dass Public School, Jalandhar is proud to house two wonderful libraries – one catering the needs of the secondary classes and the other exclusively keeping in mind the primary classes. The library is said to be the “Temple of Learning” and it appears aptly apply so, as one enters these two libraries.
The Junior library attached to the primary wing has been designed and arranged keeping in mind the temperament of the young browsers. With a colourful interior, the library houses thousands of books to cater to the needs of small children. Colorful books, pictorial books and a wide range of quality books of fiction are housed in this library.
The Senior library housed on the first floor, is a pleasing corner of knowledge. Keeping in mind the growing thirst for knowledge. Divided sectionally into reference section, fiction, and non-fictional section, magazine section, academic section, and a new arrival rack, the senior library caters to the needs of not only enthusiastic learner into subjective sections, and one finds books not only on academicals subjects, but also subjects like-philosophy, psychology, biographies, gardening, child counseling and the like, thus giving the readers a vast range to select.
